CDPA, PC PROMOTES ANDERSON TO SHAREHOLDER STATUS
ATHENS/HUNTSVILLE, AL – Local CPA firm CDPA, PC, announces the promotion of Christopher J. Anderson, CPA, to shareholder status. 
Anderson began his career at CDPA as a Senior Manager after spending more than eight years as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is now an Audit Partner. Anderson is responsible for managing audit and review engagements, which involves providing objective and independent audit and assurance services to evaluate an organization’s profitability, efficiency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. His clients include governmental, not-for-profit and for-profit entities.
“Since joining our firm, Chris has been a great resource to us as well as our clients,” said Managing Partner David Christopher. “The experience and knowledge he gained when working for a national firm has been very valuable. We are very pleased to have Chris as part of the ownership team at CDPA, and we look forward to the future.”
Anderson graduated with distinction from the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and he obtained a Master of Accountancy from the University of Alabama. Anderson received his CPA certification from the State of Alabama in 2000.
Anderson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA). He is a native of Athens, where he currently resides with his wife, Elizabeth, and two children, Ella and Bennett. He is a member of Central Church of Christ and enjoys spending his free time outdoors.
