The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and the Health Care and Educatioin Reconciliation Act of 2010 have some pretty substantial tax consequences that will take place over the coming years.  Taken together, these two pieces of legislation include an estimated $437 billion in new taxes and fees.  The expanded health care coverage provided by the legislation is expected to reduce the number of uninsured by 32 million.

Provisions in the health care reform laws will gradually go into effect over the coming years, and they are bound to affect every taxpayer.  It is crucial that you understand these changes and how they will effect you, your business & your family.

Our team is working hard to prepare for this, and we want to make sure that our clients are prepared as well.  For guidance in your individual and business tax planning under the complicated provisions in these two laws, please contact our office.
