CDPA, PC, Promotes Seaman to Shareholder Status
Huntsville, AL – December 10, 2007 –Local CPA firm CDPA, PC, announced the promotion of Robert L. Seaman, CPA, to shareholder status. He plays an integral part in the firm by serving as the Director of Small Business and Information Technology Services.
“Bob has contributed greatly to the success of our clients and our firm,” said Managing Partner David Christopher. “We are excited to have him as a co-owner and look forward to his increasing contribution to our firm’s goals,” Christopher continued, “which are to reduce our clients’ stress regarding their financial matters; increase the financial worth of our clients; and give them confidence their financial futures are secure.”
In Sept. 2001, Seaman merged his sole practitioner CPA firm with CDPA, PC. He currently assists small businesses and their owners with meeting their governmental reporting requirements and developing and implementing business strategies and financial information systems. Seaman lends business management assistance to his clients as he works to train and mentor their staff.
With more than 25 years of experience focusing on small business operations, Seaman began his public accounting career in 1985. He has held management positions in the retail and internet services industries as well as has served as an assistant administrator of a law practice. In addition to his public accounting experience, Seaman has been a controller for a manufacturing company servicing the automotive and computer industries.
Seaman is a Certified QuickBooks Consultant and currently manages CDPA’s Huntsville office. He graduated with distinction from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Computer Science. He has served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger and received an honorable discharge.
Seaman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of Public Certified Accountants (ASCPA).
